Earlier this month I was in the Business Writing for Office Professionals course at LexisNexis that was facilitated by Mags. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the training.
 
I have taught English to foreigners in the past and know how difficult it can be to facilitate a class in which students vary in their ability. Our group with Mags had a wide range of people – from second language English speakers to editors. I was so impressed by the way in which she managed to pitch the class at a level where everyone was able to learn something. This is a difficult balance to achieve and she managed to do it with energy and enthusiasm.
 
I find that many teachers just give you the information you need to know, without considering whether you absorb it or not. I appreciated the way Mags used various methods to assist our class to understand AND remember. She used associations and stories as well as writing, so that various learning styles were catered for.
 
It is inspiring to interact with someone who clearly loves their job; and more than that, someone who really enjoys people and wants to help them.
 
Thanks to KumaloGreen and especially to Mags for the course. I will definitely be able to apply all that I leant on a daily basis at work.

Please also extend my thanks to the facilitator,  Dennis, he is a very charismatic facilitator  and fascinating individual. I enjoyed every minute of the training and this is one of the few training programmes where the knowledge I have learnt will be applied over and over.
